A case of ovarian carcinosarcoma with various sarcoma components

We report a case of ovarian carcinosarcoma with various sarcoma components. Bilateral ovarian masses with both solid part and multilocular cysts were seen. Multiple linear fatty concentration were detected in the solid part of right ovarian mass on both CT and MR images. Operation was performed, and pathological examination revealed serous cystadenocarcinoma and various sarcoma components, consisting of chondrosarcoma, osteosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, undifferentiated sarcoma, and liposarcoma. In this case, liposarcoma components were detected on both CT and MR images. Ovarian carcinosarcoma might be included one of differential diagnoses of fat-containing ovarian tumors.
