N2 - Tc-99m MDP bone scan is widely used to survey bone metastases. Diffuse bone metastases from malignant tumors, such as prostate or breast carcinomas, frequently exhibit increased radioactivity on MDP bone scans, so-called super scan. Primary intracranial gliomas rarely metastasize to extracranial sites, and involvement of bone by them is uncommon. We present the case of a 45-year-old man with a super scan who had initially undergone caraniotomy for anaplastic ependymoma 16 years previously. Bone metastasis from primary intracranial glioma was pathologically confirmed by bone biopsy.
